Sheet metal bending
In air, at hollow bottom and flattening
In the bending processes, automated and advanced state-of-the-art machines are used to carry out controlled and optimized processes.
AIR BENDING
It uses a punch that presses the metal workpiece into a V-shaped die underneath. The bending angle will be determined by the force applied, which is why it is also possible to bend thick sheet metal.
HOLLOW BOTTOM FOLD
For materials that require a high tonnage load and a more precise angle, hollow bottom bending or coining is recommended, which is obtained by pressing the part inside the die.
FLATTENING
To obtain greater rigidity, protect the edges and prevent free edges, a method is used that involves pre-bending the sheet metal between 26° and 35°, followed by compression using dedicated presses.

What types of processing do you offer for sheet metal?
We offer a complete service for sheet metal processing, integrating modern technologies and optimized processes. In particular, we manage:
- High-precision laser cutting , ideal for complex profiles and sharp edges
- CNC bending, to create three-dimensional geometries with controlled tolerances
- Punching for repeated drilling, shaping and high-speed machining
- Welding on sheet metal elements for the creation of structural assemblies
- Finishing operations, such as deburring, satin finishing and surface treatments
The entire process is managed to ensure quality, repeatability and certain delivery times , both for prototypes and for mass production.
What thicknesses and sheet metal materials can you process?
We manufacture a wide range of metal materials, including steel, stainless steel and aluminium, in different sizes and thicknesses.
Machining capabilities vary by material and process type (cutting, bending, punching, welding, etc.). For a detailed overview of the maximum machinable thicknesses and supported materials, please consult the section dedicated to the Technical Guidelines on our website.
Can I send my drawing to make a custom-made component?
Yes, it is absolutely possible. You can upload your 3D file in . STEP or . STP directly through our platform.
For a correct technical evaluation, we ask you to also attach a technical table in .PDF format, containing all the dimensional specifications, tolerances, any bends, holes and additional indications necessary for production.
This allows us to offer you an accurate quotation and a realization perfectly in accordance with your needs.
What tolerances do you guarantee in bending and cutting processes?
Tolerances vary based on the material, thickness, and complexity of the part.
To ensure precise results that meet expectations, we invite you to consult the Guidelines – Sheet Metal Processing section, where the standard tolerances applied for cutting and bending operations are reported in detail.
Is it possible to combine sheet metal processing with welding or assembly?
Yes, we offer the possibility to integrate sheet metal processing with welding and assembly operations.
We create welded assemblies starting from bent, cut or punched components, guaranteeing precision in joints and dimensional consistency on the entire whole.
This approach allows us to provide complete solutions, ready for use or to be inserted directly into the customer’s production flows.
