PEENING
In the post-production process of HP-MJF 3D printing, the removal of nylon dust is critical. At Niuo3D, glass micro-spheres (Niuo Micro Glass) are used for effective cleaning and roughness reduction, improving the aesthetics of the product.

CHEMICAL SANDING
Advanced post-production process that, through controlled exposure to certified solvent vapors, allows the reduction of the surface roughness of 3D printed parts. The effect obtained in some cases is comparable to that of injection molding.

- Smoothing of the surface by vaporizing solvents, reducing roughness and closing porosity.

Two options are available in the coloring process: TOP BLACK pigmentation for a uniform and durable black, or spray painting with matte or semi-gloss finishes for a personalized and tailored look.

Peening
Get a high-end touch and feel effect with Niuo
All parts produced using HP MJF technology are shot peened and regardless of any additional treatment. The primary purpose of this process isto carefully remove nylon powder residues resulting from printing and to give the component a homogeneous surface finish, with excellent tactile and aesthetic characteristics (touch and feel).
The experience gained in the process has shown that the best results are obtained through the use of glass micro-spheres (Niuo Micro Glass), a solution that has established itself as an operating standard, as it is able to meet the highest quality requirements of customers.


Chemical Smoothing (Vapor Smoothing)
Improves the technical and surface qualities of the product
Chemical sanding is an advanced finishing treatment that is compatible with a wide range of polymer materials and is particularly effective on components made using HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology.
Through a controlled action of vaporized chemical agents, the process allows a significant reduction in surface roughness, while improving the aesthetic, mechanical and waterproof characteristics of the piece. The result is a surface of comparable quality to that obtained by injection molding, making the products suitable even for applications with a high functional and visual standard.

PIGMENTATION
Advanced pigmentation through high-tech bath:
the pigment penetrates the surface evenly,

RAL 9005 Paint – Semi-Gloss / Matt
Enhance your parts with a professional finish through painting. We offer the RAL 9005 colour as standard in glossy or matt versions. Need a different shade? At Niuo you can request any RAL color: just indicate it in the notes of your request.
